KA&Aでデザインした店舗が2つ東京・町田にオープンした。これで、弊社が町田のカフェを手がけるのは3つ目となる。カフェ・バー、44APARTMENT(ダブルフォーアパートメント)の44という数字はこの店の住所に由来している。まるで仲間が集まるNYのソーシャルアパートメントの、リビングダイニングのような空間にデザインした。2Fと屋上の2フロアがあり、外の空気を感じながらお酒を飲めるウッドデッキテラスは、音楽イベントなども開催されるほど、町田では珍しいスペース。昼はカフェ、夜はバーと、会社帰りや休日にも立ち寄れる。

Two shops in Machida, Tokyo that KA&A designed recently opened. This means that we have designed and built 3 cafes in Machida cumulatively. The number “44“ in the name 44 APARTMENT comes from the address of the project. The first floor interior is designed like the living and dining spaces of New York social apartments to create an atmosphere where close friends can come to gather. There is also a second floor and roof level with a wood deck terrace where one can drink outside and watch music events, etc. This type of space is uncommon in Machida. 44 APARTMENT is a cafe during the day and a bar at night, providing sanctuary for those returning from work, holidays or anytime people want to drop by.
